Looking For Lightning is a full length solo play that chronicles the story of how actor-producer Garth McLean's fast-paced Hollywood lifestyle was suddenly interrupted with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. Determined to heal his body and overcome the terror of a potentially crippling disability, McLean soon discovered the healing impact Iyengar Yoga had on his condition -- offering hope on a landscape of fear. McLean's solo odyssey takes us from Hollywood and the hospital at UCLA Medical Center, to Saskatchewan, to India and the feet of yoga master BKS Iyengar himself. The result is a humorous, universal and ultimately restorative exploration of the soul.
